Once students had their two taster sessions, and decide they would like to do more sculpture , I prefer them to attend for full term course rather than one-off .In the first term there might be exceptions, due to previous commitment of students
1. If a student knows they will miss certain sessions in the term because of holidays and other previous commitments, they should let me know at the earliest possible opportunity about it, so I can offer the class to someone else.
With a spontaneous event or illness, let me know latest on the day, or the evening before – Many thanks ( it saves me taking out the sculpture form the storage)
2. With regular week time and evening classes, there is a possibility ( but no guarantee) that they can book replacements sessions on other days of the week. I publicise vacancies VERY SHORT NOTICE, on the same day of the workshop between 8.00-8.30 ( or the evening before ) the place goes on a first come first serve basis.
3. With the Daventry course you can only pay 50% for the day you know you will not be able to attend, for up to two sessions only.
4. Usually, I cannot offer replacement sessions for sessions missed spontaneously , due to illness or other factors. You can ask, but priority is given to those with prearranged missed sessions.
5. plea only discuss these thing ON EMAIL - i just cannot remember various details while teaching!
6. For those students who can only attend at erratic times, due to other commitments, shift work etc..
a) they can either look out for or put themselves on a waiting list for the one-off intensive workshops
b) they can book various individual sessions, as not every student attend the whole course, but instead excludes two sessions .
c) they can enquire short notice before a session whether there is space
