Bronze Animal Sculptures

An animal sculpture the show a creature at its most simple and angular: it stands sturdily on its tense and outstretched legs, with its body presented in a contrasting curve .

This is the sculpture of an animal, abstracted into dynamic, fluid outlines, vaguely based on a horse, and reminiscent of prehistoric cave paintings.

This little horse sculpture is based on archaic Greek and Celtic animal sculptures, some of them miniatures, as for instance used for belt buckles.

This bronze animal sculpture is contained within a sweeping, sinuous outline, the narrow middle strip contrasting with the expansive swelling of bottom and chest.

This bronze animal sculpture is a simplified and abstracted form, loosely based on archaic miniature sculptures from the Celtic or early Greek epoch, sometimes found on belt buckles.
